Wednesday during the week of AirVenture we always host a party at our campsite.  This party has been named the "HOPS" party (for the rec.aviation newsgroups -- Homebuilt, Owning, Piloting, and Student), and this year was our 5th Annual event.

As always, Jim & Tami Burns, and the inimitable Montblack, were essential to the success of this shin-dig.   With motorized transportation ranging from a Honda Scooter to a huge SUV, these folks make this party happen by bringing in tables, chairs, coolers, ice, and all the food!

This year, unfortunately, the biggest storm of the week swept the grounds right before the party was to start, keeping attendance a bit lower than in past years. 

Nonetheless, a great time was had by all -- here are some pix from the evening:
