2007 Fly-In Pool Party
On Saturday, July 21st, 2007, we threw our 5th
Annual Iowa City Fly-In Pool Party.  The weather was perfect, and we
were rewarded with our best attendance yet -- over 25 aircraft flew into
Iowa City specifically for the party, resulting in over 75 people enjoying
    the event!
To say we were overwhelmed was an understatement.
Being an Open House-style event, the arrivals usually come in well-spaced
apart -- but not this year!   Jay spent literally all day running
the hotel's courtesy van back and forth to the ramp, shuttling party-goers
to-and-from the event.  In fact, we eventually pressed one of our
guests -- a Cajun cook from Louisiana -- into performing the Grillmeister
duties.   There was simply no other way to get the food cooked.
