Monday
- Home at Last
Monday dawned horrible, with low scud and heavy
rain. Luckily, however, this system was rapidly moving into Michigan
and Canada, and within a few hours we were able to depart in marginal VFR,
with conditions rapidly improving as we headed west.
By Lafayette, we were at 6500 feet above a
scattered layer, and enjoyed a smooth and uneventful flight home.
