Each year, on the Saturday before Oshkosh AirVenture (the largest aviation celebration in the world), we throw a party at poolside for all pilots and aviation enthusiasts at the hotel! Free beverages, snacks, food, and music are provided -- all served at poolside!

On your way to Oshkosh? Want to meet pilots who are? All aviation enthusiasts are invited to enjoy FREE food, beverages, snacks, and music – all served at hotel poolside – all day long!

Flying in? We’re located adjacent to Runway 25 at the Iowa City Airport, and will be providing FREE transportation to and from the airport all day long. You and your family are invited to join in the “Pre-Oshkosh” festivities, so bring your swim suits! (And enjoy our FBO’s 25 cent-per-gallon fuel discount during Oshkosh week, too!)

Why? It’s just our way of thanking the aviation community for another great year as the only aviation-themed hotel in the Midwest. Flying into Airventure? Practice the FISK approach into OSH on our full-sized flight simulator, soak away the day's stress in our pool, and enjoy a traditional Midwestern cookout -- all FREE! (Want to spend the night? Book early, as they always book up fast! EAA discounts are available! Limited camping space on the property is available, too -- free of charge.)

Then, on Sunday morning (not TOO early) any pilots interested in flying into Oshkosh Airventure will be welcome to join us in a loose gaggle flight through the Fisk Arrival into Oshkosh! Some years we have five planes, other years more, but it’s always an educational experience. If you’ve never flown into Oshkosh -- the busiest airspace in the world – it certainly helps to harness the experience of those who have, and it’s fun, too! See ya there!
