Over Canada
We reluctantly departed Niagara Falls on Friday,
but we did it in grand style, by over-flying the falls area, and departing
north into Canada!
Far from the storms that continued to plague Ohio
and Pennsylvania, we cruised along the Northern shoreline of Lake Erie, and
had a great trip to our next stop, Willow Run, in Yipsilanti, Michigan.
This was the site of the Consolidated B-24 bomber
factory during World War II (they were knocking out one Liberator an *hour*
during peak production!), and it's still there, now producing General Motors
cars. It's an awesome site to behold in its own right, and the airport
is just huge.
