2008 Becs Piano Recital Each spring Barbara Shaw puts together a piano recital at the First Presbyterian Church in Iowa City for all of her students, from beginner to advanced. Each student performs a short piece at the front of the church, in front of all. Needless to say, it's a high-stress gig for the kids. Becca has performed in six (?) of these now, and we're always impressed with her "nerves of steel". She simply doesn't show ANY nervousness, and always seems to absolutely nail her performance -- which is amazing, given how little she actually practices!
