2008 Annual Inspection
Atlas received his FAA-required annual inspection
in February this year -- a month early. By doing the inspection during
the worst of the winter, we don't risk the plane being down during the good
flying weather.
As always, we did what's called an
"owner-assisted" inspection, which means that I do all the dirty work so
that we don't have to pay the mechanic/inspector boat-loads of money to
unscrew inspection panels, etc.. This year, for the first time, Joe
helped!
