This year we celebrated the Thanksgiving holiday in Iowa City with a traditional feast -- and a flight to Amana!

Jay's sister JoAnn was able to make the looong drive from Michigan and stayed with us for a few days.  Our good friend Paul Montgomery also joined us -- and got a haircut from Becca for his trouble!  (Really, it was at his request!)

Then, the following day, we flew with JoAnn into Amana's little grass strip for another feast of home-style German cuisine, and to view the beautiful Christmas trees at Amana's annual "Prelude to Christmas" event.   Pics are at the bottom of this page.
