2006 Mennonite Sale Every June, the Mennonites in the Iowa City area put on a huge, 2-day sale in support of their overseas missionaries. Fresh-churned butter and ice cream, home-baked pies and cakes, fresh white and wheat bread, and (of course) Iowa pork are served in great quantities, at prices you simply can't believe. We always try to attend, and this year Becca brought a friend along. Here are some pix from the day:
