Spencer Gillis -- an independent film director and producer -- began filming his independent movie here at the hotel in February.  A story of love and pathos (title yet to be announced) between a soldier heading back to Iraq and his lover, it was shot in and around our Constellation Suite over a period of several days in February.

The lights, sounds, and excitement of filming a movie here was very interesting, and our guests seemed fascinated by what was going on around them.  Even during the "drunk and rowdy" scenes, our other guests showed patience and support for the effort, and kids watched the show with rapt attention as the actors went from "sober to drunk" for take after take!
