2005 Early Fall Colors On October 9, 2005, we embarked on an early fall colors flight to Lone Rock, WI. As can be seen by the pictures, below, the colors aren't *quite* there yet -- but they're ready to pop any minute! We met Jim & Tami Burns (and kids) for brunch at Piccadilly Lilly's -- the on-field restaurant at Lone Rock's Tri-County Airport -- and ran into a C-210 driver with a unique method of getting his "too-tall" aircraft" inside the hangar. See the picture, below, to see how he has built a ramp for the nose gear,
which effectively lowers the tail a good 12 inches -- allowing it to clear the
