2004 Oshkosh Airventure
Every year we start looking forward to Oshkosh
sometime around Valentine's Day.
By Memorial Day we've started making our list of
goodies to buy at the world's biggest fly-in and airshow.
By Independence Day, we're at a fever pitch,
practically salivating over the thought of total aviation immersion therapy.
This year was no different. From July 26th
through August 2nd, we spent 8 glorious days (and 7 wondrous nights) camped
on the hallowed ground of Oshkosh's Wittman Field, under the wing of "Atlas"
-- our Cherokee Pathfinder. (So named because he can lift
anything we can fit inside!)
For ease of navigation I've broken the week into
several sub-sections.
Enjoy!
