2004 Fourth of July Parade The Fourth of July has always been important to our family, and 2004 was the year we decided to participate rather than just observe. Below are pictures from our VERY basic entry -- our kids (plus a friend) carrying the Alexis Park Inn & Suites banner, Mary and I dressed like Amelia Earhart and Fred Noonan, throwing candy like crazy, riding in our Mustang convertible while cranking out Steppenwolf's "Born to Be Wild" throughout the parade!
